Children are going "mad" over Mad Science
Children all over the area are jumping, screaming, and learning to loving science because of Mad Science. A small company out of Barry Illinois is successfully building its business by engaging, entertaining, and inspiring the next generation of scientist.
Mad Science presentations excite and amaze children from kindergarten to eighth grade. These presentations may include magical fire, super smoke rings, floating ping-pong balls, bubbling potions, or even a hoverboard.
"Our goal is to spark the imagination of children and turn them on to science," says Richard Elsenpeter. "We do this through a combination of dramatic demonstrations at the same time applying pure science principles. There is nothing more exciting than seeing a child grasp a scientific concept, have fun doing it and then wanting more. And our proven programs are based on solid educational concepts and combines all the elements kids are looking for, so we're not surprised when a parent or teacher tells us a child has a newfound interest in science."
