“What I try to do is recreate what Mark did so many years ago. As an actor, I want the audience to feel that they have met John Mark in person,” Richard Garey says. Despite the fact that Mark’s material is almost two thousand years old, it is still fresh and new. Garey adds, “I continue to be amazed at how well his material holds up. It’s fascinating when you realize that it still works. Stories often have a short shelf life, but Mark is still very powerful and relevant after all these years.”
